Welcome!

   Chef Amy grew up in Phoenix, AZ in an average middle class family. She learned the value of hard work from her parents. And inherently learned the value of rest and play as well. 

​

   She would joke that her culinary career started when she was two years old. She climbed on the stove and turned it on, causing a 3rd degree burn that resulted in a lifelong scar on her ankle. 

​

   She took her first position as a teenager at Wendy's where she excelled and learned a great deal of humility. After a few years she decided to go into banking, thinking that the money would be worth it. After 3 long years of misery, she found herself jobless and wondering where to go from there. Miraculously, she ended up at Le Cordon Bleu at Scottsdale Culinary Institute.

   After graduating, it was hard to find a cooking position. She worked as a barista for a few years until she landed her dream job at a casual fine dining restaurant in Cave Creek, AZ. She worked all kitchen positions and as a server. And in 2016, after almost 6 years, she found herself in a place where she needed to redefine herself once again. That's when she began catering and began a meal prep service.

   It's been over 20 years since that first position at Wendy's. In that time, Chef Amy has worked many jobs as a line cook, dishwasher, server, and bartender. During that time, she got married, had four children, and had many ups and downs in life.

​

   Amy found herself out of a job during Covid and divorced after 17 years of marriage. She was totally lost and had no idea where to go from there. Her whole perspective on life shifted and she knew that it was up to her  and God to be the provider for herself and her family. It was a rough year and a half. But during that time she was presented with many incredible opportunities to try new things. It was during one of the hardest seasons of her life that she rekindled a dream she had let go of many years ago. 

   Now she is excited to journey through this new season with her now adult sons and young daughters. She and her family are excited to see what the next 20 years have in store!
